  • A self-motivated and hard working Chartered Civil Engineer with Post Graduation in Water Resources Development & Irrigation Engg. and Ph.D. in Open Channel Hydraulics.
  • More than 25 years of academic and research experience with proven skills of an effective teacher at U.G. & P.G. levels including 5+ years experience at high administrative posts.
  • Author of the books entitled Philosophy & Practice of Valuation (Allied Publishers Limited, New Delhi, ISBN 81-7764-162-X, No. of pages–320, Size – 16cm x 24cm, Price – Rs. 360/-, 2001) and The Tremor (ISBN 81-7525-707-5, 2006).
  • More than 100 publications at national and international levels.
  • Attended seven Short Term Training Programs (STTPs) and twelve workshops.
  • Recipient of Diwan Bahadur Mulna Schlorship (1979-84) and a National Award (1993) from the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Exposure to various computer languages/packages.
  • Ex Member - Board of Studies, Nagpur University, Nagpur (1988-91).
  • Fellow of the Institution of Valuers and memberships of the Institution of Engineers (India), Institution of Public Health Engineers (India), Indian Society for Technical Education, Indian Water Works Association, and Indian Red Cross Society.
  • Served a term as the Member of the Editorial Board of (J.) Institution of Valuers (India) from April 13th, 1996 to January, 1999.
  • Editor-in-Chief of the Proc. National Conferences on Innovations in Engineering & Technology, 2007, 14th - 15th March, Gondia, Maharashtra.
  • Won several prizes in debate and science competitions at primary, middle, and high-school levels.
  • Co-coordinated a one day workshop in Earthquake Disaster Management in February 25th, 2002 held in M.I.E.T., Gondia (M.S.).
  • Ten Ph.D. dissertations are being co-supervised/supervised as an approved Ph.D. Supervisor, Nagpur University, Nagpur (M.S.). Guided numerous under-graduate dissertations since 1987 and supervised/evaluated five P.G. dissertations of Environmental Engineering since 2002.
  • Made a presentation about the proposed National Institute of Aviation Training & Management on 22nd March 2007 in the boardroom of Airport Authority of India, New Delhi.
  • Hosted the visits of The Vice-President of India, Shri Bhairon Singh Shekawat, in February 2007; Ku. Renuka Choudhary, Minister of State for Tourism in January 2009; and Smt. Prathibha Devi Singh Patil, The President of India, in February 2009, in the capacity of the Principal, MIET.
  • National Cadet Corps A Part I/II certificate holder and an active participator in N.S.S. activities.
  • Member - Advisory Board of Monad University, New Delhi.
